The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA) and the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), saw Center Point-Urbana's volleyball squad beat Monticello by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Center Point-Urbana upgrades its record to 14-8 on the year. The Stormin' Pointers host Marion (Marion, IA) to play the Wolves in a WAMAC - West bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Marion won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Benton (Van Horne, IA)

The Panthers (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels enter the River Valley North test with a 9-9 record. In their last test, Northeast dropped by Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
