The Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Edgerton Flying Dutchmen to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Ulm Cathedral for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Lac qui Parle Valley will meet a Greyhounds team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-7.
The Flying Dutchmen (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons enter the Red Rock game with a 1-12 record. In their last game, Red Rock Central dropped by Springfield (Springfield, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
