The Estacado Matadors held off the visiting Lake View Chiefs volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's league test.

The Matadors now have a 7-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Levelland for a 4A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, September 26. Estacado will confront a Lobos team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 8-16.

The Chiefs (0-20) will now prepare for their test against Big Spring (Big Spring, TX). The Steers enter the 4A Region I District 5 test with a 9-22 record. In their last test, Big Spring held off Snyder (Snyder, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
