The Monument Valley Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Green River Pirates to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Mesa for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 27. Monument Valley will meet a Redskins team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Williams (Williams, AZ). The Redskins record now stands at 2-3.
The Pirates (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Wayne (Bicknell, UT). The Badgers enter the non-league game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Wayne dropped by Panguitch (Panguitch, UT), 3-0, in a league game.
