The Leslie County Eagles volleyball team (Hyden, KY), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY)

The Black Bears (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rockets enter the non-league challenge with a 6-12 record. In their last challenge, Rockcastle County was nudged by Pulaski County (Somerset, KY), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY) in a District 54 challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Leslie County will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Jenkins (Jenkins, KY).
