In Saturday's league battle, the host Harrison County Thorobreds volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Robertson County Black Devils.
The Thorobreds (16-6) will now prepare for their battle against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Fleming County was outscored by Mason County (Maysville, KY), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
The Black Devils now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Lee County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. Robertson County will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-12.
