The Pierz Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Little Falls Flyers to 0 in the Pioneers league victory on Saturday.

The Pioneers now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mora for a Granite Ridge game on Saturday, September 23. Pierz will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-8.

The Flyers (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Foley (Foley, MN). The Falcons enter the Granite Ridge game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Foley dropped by Albany (Albany, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
