The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) and the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), saw Riverton's volleyball squad beat Lutheran by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Riverton upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Pleasant Plains won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Olympia (Stanford, IL)

The Crusaders now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pulaski for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Lutheran will play a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hartsburg-Emden (Hartsburg, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-13.
