Minnesota High School Volleyball - Mayer Lutheran can't hold off Russell-Tyler-Ruthton

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders.
The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers come into the Red Rock battle with a 13-2 record. In their last battle, Westbrook-Walnut Grove was edged by Heron Lake-Okabena (Okabena, MN), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Crusaders clash with the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals (Faribault, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Mayer Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Nevis (Nevis, MN).
