The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA) and the visiting Springville Orioles (Springville, IA), saw North Cedar's volleyball squad beat Springville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, North Cedar upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Knights host Durant (Durant, IA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Durant lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Wilton (Wilton, IA)

The Orioles now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they host Central City for a Tri-Rivers - Valley bout on Tuesday, September 26. Springville will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
