In Saturday's non-league battle, the host North Cedar Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Starmont Stars.

The Knights (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Springville (Springville, IA). The Orioles come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Springville defeated Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Stars encounter the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Starmont will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).
