The Rock Valley Rockets topped the visiting Okoboji Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's league test.
The Rockets now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newell-Fonda for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Rock Valley will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-6.
The Pioneers (4-13) will now prepare for their test against South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league test with a 3-9 record. In their last test, South O'Brien was knocked off by Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
