The Okoboji Pioneers held off the host South O'Brien Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pioneers now have a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sioux City West for a non-league test on Saturday, September 23. Okoboji will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 league win over Le Mars (Le Mars, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-1.
The Wolverines (4-10) will now prepare for their test against West Sioux (Hawarden, IA). The Falcons enter the War Eagle test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, West Sioux was nudged by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
