The Whitley County Colonels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers to 0 in the Colonels non-league victory on Saturday.
The Colonels now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlan County for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Whitley County will meet a Black Bears team coming off a 3-0 league win over Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 10-4.
The Briar Jumpers (16-7) will now prepare for their game against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league game with a 18-2 record.
