In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Edison Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Annandale Atoms.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Lewis was tipped by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Atoms meet the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 25. Annandale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Majors enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hayfield (Alexandria, VA).
