In Monday's league match, the host Venice Gondoliers flag football squad scored a good 38-12 triumph over the Fairfax Lions.
The Gondoliers (4-3) will now prepare for their match against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the Western match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, University was beaten by Franklin (Los Angeles, CA), 14-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Lions confront the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western match, on Monday, September 30. Fairfax will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Unicorns go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 14-0 league loss to Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA).
