In Monday's league outing, the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Whippany Park Wildcats.

The Lakers (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Madison (Madison, NJ). The Dodgers go into the non-league outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Madison got by Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Morris County Tech Devils (Denville, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 26. Whippany Park will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Devils go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Academy of St. Elizabeth (Convent Station, NJ).
