In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Staunton Storm volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Charlottesville Black Knights.

The Storm (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo Gap was beaten by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Charlottesville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).
