Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Tri-Valley Bears (Grahamsville, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Chester improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hambletonians host Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Friday, October 4. The Comets go into the test with a record of 1-2.

The Bears now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Livingston Manor for a non-league test on Friday, September 27.
