In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Dennis-Yarmouth Regional Dolphins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Danvers Falcons.
The Dolphins (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Nantucket (Nantucket, MA). The Whalers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Nantucket got by Nauset Regional (North Eastham, MA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Falcons battle the Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Danvers will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Sachems enter the contest with a 8-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lynn Vo-Tech (Lynn, MA).
