Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) and the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), observed Harlan County's volleyball team top Lee by a count of 2-0.

The Black Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bell County (Pineville, KY). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.

Next, the Generals battle the John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Lee will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA).
