In Monday's league outing, the host Gray Stone Day Knights soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Albemarle Bulldogs.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, South Stanly was overwhelmed by Union Academy (Monroe, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A outing, on Wednesday, September 25. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Comets go into the outing with a 2-10 record after their 8-0 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
