Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Benzie Central moves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI) to clash with the Gladiators in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 10-4. St. Francis won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI)

The Bears now sport a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Leland for a Northwest test on Wednesday, September 25. Buckley will clash with a Comets team coming off a 8-0 league win over Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Comets record now stands at 12-1.
