In Monday's league outing, the visiting Westover Wolverines soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls.

The Wolverines (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans go into the All American 3A/4A outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Pine Forest got by Overhills (Spring Lake, NC), 4-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Golden Bulls confront the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a All American 3A/4A outing, on Wednesday, September 25. E.E. Smith will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Hawks go into the outing with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Harnett Central (Angier, NC).
