In Monday's league outing, the visiting Wake Forest Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Knightdale Knights.

The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines go into the Northern Athletic 4A outing with a 10-1 record. In their last outing, Wakefield got by Rolesville (Rolesville, NC), 3-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Knights confront the Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC) in a Northern Athletic 4A outing, on Tuesday, September 24. Knightdale will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Huskies go into the outing with a 10-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
