In Monday's league outing, the host Western Alamance Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Williams Bulldogs.

The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves go into the Central 3A outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Cedar Ridge got by Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 25. Williams will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Phoenix go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 1-0 league loss to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).
