Colorado High School Softball - Discovery Canyon bounces Lewis-Palmer

September 23, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80921

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), observed Discovery Canyon's softball team get by Lewis-Palmer by a tally of 10-6.

The Thunder (7-9) will now prepare for their bout against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO). The Bears go into the 4A Pikes Peak bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, Palmer Ridge tipped Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 4-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak bout, on Wednesday, September 25. Lewis-Palmer will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Kadets go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 15-0 league loss to Lutheran (Parker, CO).
