Colorado High School Softball - Ponderosa bounces Douglas County

September 23, 2024: Castle Rock, CO 80104

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO) and the host Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO), observed Ponderosa's softball team get by Douglas County by a tally of 15-11.

The Mustangs (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Golden Eagles go into the 5A/4A Continental bout with a 5-12 record. In their last bout, Mountain Vista tipped ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO), 8-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental bout, on Wednesday, September 25. Douglas County will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 10-0 league win over Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO).
