Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) and the visiting Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL), observed Ariton's volleyball team top Goshen by a count of 3-0.

The Purple Cats (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Abbeville (Abbeville, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A Area 4 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Abbeville was knocked off by Cottonwood (Cottonwood, AL), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
