The Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Captain Shreve Gators (Shreveport, LA), 3-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Parkway for a Division I District 1 bout on Thursday, September 26. Benton will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Captain Shreve drops to 7-4 on the campaign. The Gators host North Caddo (Vivian, LA) to clash with the Titans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 3-7. North Caddo won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Red River (Coushatta, LA)
