Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) and the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), observed Staunton's volleyball team top Charlottesville by a tally of 3-0.

The Storm (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the Shenandoah contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Buffalo Gap was beaten by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a Jefferson contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Charlottesville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).
