The Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions volleyball squad (Miami, FL), was edged 3-2 in Monday's league battle with the host Coral Shores Hurricanes (Tavernier, FL)

With the win, Coral Shores improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Hurricanes host Marathon (Marathon, FL) to encounter the Dolphins in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 2. The Dolphins go into the battle with a record of 2-12.

The Stallions now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cushman for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Colonial Christian (Homestead, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 14-3.
