Tennessee High School Volleyball - Covington over Munford

In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Covington Chargers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Munford Cougars.

The Chargers (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Craigmont (Memphis, TN). The Chiefs come into the AA District 15 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Craigmont lost by Trezevant (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN) in a AAA District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. Munford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Memphis Central (Memphis, TN).
