Fans at Monday's league contest between the Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA) and the host Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA), observed Dracut's volleyball team top Lawrence by a count of 3-1.

The Middies (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA). The Indians enter the Merrimack Valley II contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Billerica Memorial notched a victory over Lowell (Lowell, MA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers battle the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen (Tewksbury, MA) in a Merrimack Valley II contest, on Wednesday, September 25. Lawrence will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Redmen enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Westford Academy (Westford, MA).
