North Carolina High School Volleyball - Draughn bounced by Patton

The Draughn Wildcats volleyball squad (Valdese, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC)

With the win, Patton improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Panthers host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A battle on Thursday, September 26. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 9-9. East Rutherford won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Chase (Forest City, NC)

The Wildcats now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Owen for a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Wednesday, September 25. Draughn will encounter a Warhorses squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Madison (Marshall, NC). The Warhorses record now stands at 8-4.
