In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Grundy County Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions.
The Yellowjackets (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN). The Lions come into the AA District 6 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Red Bank was beaten by Whitwell (Whitwell, TN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mountain Lions meet the South Pittsburg Pirates (South Pittsburg, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 24. St. Andrews-Sewanee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
