The Tigers (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, MS). The Lions enter the Class 2A Region 1 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Hamilton was knocked off by Walnut (Walnut, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Indians meet the South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 23. Itawamba Agricultural will attempt to move on its 5-20 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 13-15 record after their 3-0 league win over Senatobia (Senatobia, MS).
