Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC) and the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC), observed High Point Central's volleyball team hold off Thomasville by a count of 3-2.

The Bison (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Wildcats enter the Mid-State 3A contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Eastern Guilford got by Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Thomasville will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 2-8 record after their 3-2 league win over South Davidson (Denton, NC).
