The Morehead Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Martinsville Bulldogs to 2 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now have a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Walkertown for a Mid-State 2A outing on Tuesday, September 24. Morehead will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-4.

With the loss, Martinsville drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA) to play the Warriors in a Piedmont outing on Thursday, September 26. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 9-4. Magna Vista won 3-0 in their recent league outing against George Washington (Danville, VA)
