The Northumberland Indians edged the host West Point Pointers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Indians confront the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) in a Northern Neck game, on Tuesday, September 24. Northumberland will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Red Devils go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Middlesex (Saluda, VA).
The Pointers (6-7) will now prepare for their game against King William (King William, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Tidewater game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, King William nudged King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
