With the win, South Lamar improves its record to 7-6 on the season. The Stallions travel to Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Pickens Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against University Charter (Livingston, AL)

The Tornadoes now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordo for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 26. Pickens County will encounter a Green Wave squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 5-5.
