With the win, Washington improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Rams host Independence (Glendale, AZ) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-5.

The Patriots now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Joya Community for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. Independence will face a Fighting Lobos squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Fighting Lobos record now stands at 0-1.
