California High School Flag Football - Central Catholic thwarted by East Union

September 23, 2025: Modesto, CA 95351

East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) boosters were content Tuesday as they observed their flag football squad thwart the host Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA), 27-7 in a league match.

The Lancers (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Patterson (Patterson, CA). The Tigers come into the Valley Oak League match with a 1-10 record. In their last match, Patterson went down by Oakdale (Oakdale, CA), 27-19, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Raiders meet the Manteca Buffaloes (Manteca, CA) in a Valley Oak League match, on Thursday, September 25. Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Buffaloes go into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 13-0 league win over Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
