California High School Flag Football - Elk Grove sneaks past Cosumnes Oaks

The Elk Grove Thundering Herd flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the host Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack to 13 in the Thundering Herd league triumph on Tuesday.

The Thundering Herd now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Monterey Trail for a Delta League test on Thursday, September 25. Elk Grove will face a Mustangs team coming off a 40-38 league loss to Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-3.

The Wolfpack (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA). The Cardinals enter the Delta League game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Laguna Creek held off Franklin (Elk Grove, CA), 18-12, in a league game.
