In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Aspen Skiers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Basalt Longhorns.

The Skiers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO). The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Roaring Fork lost by Olathe (Olathe, CO), 2-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Moffat County Bulldogs (Craig, CO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 2. Basalt will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rifle (Rifle, CO).
