Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs (Elliston, VA) and the visiting Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA), observed Eastern Montgomery's volleyball team hold off Bath County by a count of 2-1.

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Celtics enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record.

Next, the Chargers battle the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 25. Bath County will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Rockets go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA).
