In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Cape Fear Colts volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Scotland Fighting Scots.

The Colts (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Lumberton beat Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Scots face the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 25. Scotland will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
