East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Eagles now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they host North Duplin for a outing on Thursday, September 25. East Bladen will play a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 7-6.

The Wildcats (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Rosewood gained a win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
