Fike Golden Demons (Wilson, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Demons (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC). The Firebirds enter the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Southern Nash was beaten by C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) in a test, on Thursday, September 25. Northern Nash will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Golden Falcons go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Southern Nash (Bailey, NC).
