In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mauldin Mavericks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the J.L. Mann Patriots.
The Mavericks (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Hillcrest went down by Woodmont (Piedmont, SC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now sport a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easley for a non-league test on Thursday, September 25. J.L. Mann will face a Green Wave squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-2.
